Brian Mather, DC
Dr. Mather is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®. He has been the team chiropractor for the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club for the past 10 seasons, and has been in practice here in Spokane for over 14 years. He was born and raised in Spokane, and graduated in 1996 from Western States Chiropractic College, with honors. He is nationally certified in Cox® Decompression Therapy, Graston® Instrument Soft tissue Mobilization Technique, is sitting for his certification in Kinesio Taping® and is the creator of Neurologic Rehabilitation Technique.
Dr. Mather served as chiropractor for the 2007 & 2010 U.S. Figure Skating National Championships and is a consultant to many of the areas semi professional and collegiate athletic teams in Spokane. While he has a large sports practice, he enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Mather is married with 2 daughters. He enjoys spending his free time with his family.
April Roybal-Vierra, DC
Dr. April Roybal-Vierra was born and raised in Milwaukee WI. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of WI- Milwaukee. Dr. April received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1997. She is National Board Certified in Physiotherapy and Certified in Cox® Lumbar Flexion Distraction Technique for Lumbar Disc injuries. Dr. April is currently studying to receive her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® certification. Dr. April welcomes all patients of all conditions to her practice.
Dr. April has been practicing for 14 years in Spokane WA. She is married and has two daughters. Her hobbies include coaching soccer and sprint triathlons. She is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her family.
Asdrubal Lopez, DC
Dr. Lopez is currently the Chair of Sports Science and Sports Medicine of the USA Track and Field Inland Northwest Association. He is a recent graduate from Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, TX. He is certified in ART®, Graston® and is highly trained in Kinesio Tape®. While in school he had the opportunity to do an internship at Rice University’s athletic department, where he worked and managed many varieties of sports related injuries on elite collegiate athletes. Dr. Lopez also had the opportunity to do a hospital rotation and a neurology rotation at Houston’s Medical Center, one of the nations most respected hospitals. There he assisted the neurologist and medical doctor in performing physical exams and reviewing special studies. Dr. Lopez served as the Medical Director for the 2011 USA Track & Field Junior Olympic Championships held here in Spokane.
As much as Dr. Lopez loves working on athletes, he takes the experience and certifications of treating sports injuries and applies them to his average family practice patients. The goal is to get them better faster, so they can get back to their daily activities with out pain. When Dr. Lopez is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, going to church, working out, playing soccer and staying active.
Jessica Weatherman, LMP
Jessica has proudly worked at Spokane Chiropractic for the past 5 years. Jessica graduated from Inland Massage Institute and has been practicing massage for the past 6 years. Jessica was selected as one of the massage therapists for the 2007 U.S. Figure Skating National Championships. Outside of massage her many interests include, fishing, camping and spending quality time with her husband boating on the river.

Stephnie Hansen, LMP
Stephnie joined SCSIC in spring of 2010. She graduated from Apollo College in 2008 with a certification in massage therapy and is a licensed massage practicioner in the State of Washington. While she enjoys treating all types of patients, she specializes in using deep tissue massage to help patients with chronic pain issues.
Stephnie grew up in the lower valley of Washington and her education also consists of an AA in applied science. When she isn’t working she enjoys sports, hanging with her dogs and riding her motorcycle.
Tami Ressa
Tami has been working at SCSIC since 2006 as our Patient Services Coordinator. She loves serving our patients on a daily basis, overseeing details of the Front Office, as well as coordinating our Clinic Newsletter. Tami is a graduate of Gonzaga University, proud mother of two amazing teenagers, enjoys gardening, hosting events and spending time with her family.
Courtney Dirk
Courtney Dirk joined SCSIC in 2005 as a front office receptionist. Courtney is now working as our Clinical Support Coordinator. She is often helping out the providers with referrals, reports and other current needs, as well as, manages all of our Labor and Industry claims. Courtney recently graduated from Gonzaga University and now has a son named Greyson. When she is not at work she loves spending time outside with her husband, son and her two dogs, Jett and Kody.
Carie Jones
Carie joined SCSIC in 2011 and coordinates our billing department. She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with an accounting degree. Carie is married with 3 daughters and loves to spend time with her family, work on home projects and read.
